We are looking for a CAD Designer to create and manage high-quality 2D and 3D drawings for offshore engineering projects, vessel layouts, and installation procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in design and support across various disciplines.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Create and review 2D and 3D drawings for installation methods and operational procedures.
• Develop layout and design drawings for vessels and vessel equipment.
• Produce yard layout and vessel mooring drawings to support offshore projects.
• Plan assigned tasks, monitor progress, and communicate any deviations to the project team.
• Conduct feasibility checks for installation methods and designs.
• Register and self-check drawings files within the file management system.
• Create lift rigging arrangement and laydown drawings for offshore operations.
• Provide input to the project lessons learned register to improve future workflows.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project team to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Maritime Engineering or equivalent.
  • Alternatively, Secondary Vocational with 3-4 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor is required.
• Experience with Autodesk Vault Professional is beneficial.
• Previous design experience in the offshore industry is advantageous
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to build and maintain positive business relationships at all levels.
• Well-organised with a structured and methodical approach to tasks
• Ability to work efficiently under time-sensitive conditions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and related applications.
