We are looking for an HVAC E3D Designer to contribute to the design and development of HVAC systems for large-scale offshore projects. You will create and model HVAC systems using E3D, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver efficient, reliable, and compliant designs for offshore platforms.

Tasks & responsibilities:

  • Use E3D software to design and model HVAC systems for offshore platforms, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
  • Develop HVAC layouts and details, including ductwork, piping, and equipment arrangements, while adhering to industry standards.
  • Work closely with other engineering disciplines, such as structural, piping, and electrical teams, to ensure HVAC systems are seamlessly integrated into the overall design.
  • Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for all stages of the project.
  • Conduct self-checks and reviews of HVAC models to ensure they meet design requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Identify design challenges and work proactively to find solutions, making adjustments to designs as needed.
  • Interface with clients and stakeholders as needed to understand project requirements and ensure HVAC designs align with their expectations.

Requirements HVAC E3D Designer

  • A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Design, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in HVAC design, with proven expertise in using E3D software (experience in the offshore, oil & gas, or renewable energy sectors is preferred).
  • Proficiency in E3D for HVAC system design; familiarity with other design tools (such as AutoCAD) is a plus!
  • Solid understanding of HVAC principles, system components, and industry standards for offshore projects.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and communicate technical concepts clearly.
  • Strong commitment to accuracy, quality, and safety in design.
  • Fluency in English is required; familiarity with Dutch is an advantage.
