Lead E&I 3D Designer/Coordinator

We are looking for a Lead E&I 3D Designer/Coordinator to oversee the 3D modeling of electrical and instrumentation systems, manage a design team, and standardise E&I modeling processes for offshore platforms and HV substations using tools like E3D and PDMS.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of E&I 3D designers, ensuring efficient project delivery.
• Oversee the standardisation of E&I 3D modeling processes across projects.
• Collaborate with the ICT department to set up E&I project 3D modeling workflows.
• Develop detailed 3D models for electrical and instrumentation systems using E3D and or PDMS software.
• Create and manage models for cable trays, E&I cabinets/panels, field equipment, and supports.
• Perform 3D modeling of HV/MV cables, low voltage distribution, and supporting structures.
• Provide expertise in greenfield E&I 3D design for offshore platform projects.
• Ensure design compliance with project specifications, standards, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with other departments to integrate E&I designs into overall project models.
• Review and refine design documentation to optimise accuracy and functionality.
• Assist in automation and telecommunication design for offshore installations.
• Support HV substation design and ensure integration with related systems.

• Minimum of 5 years working in an engineering company with a focus on E&I 3D design.
• At least 5 years of experience in greenfield E&I 3D detailed design.
• Proven experience leading a team of E&I 3D designers.
• Expertise in E3D and/or PDMS software for 3D modeling.
• Proficient in 3D modeling of electrical components such as cable trays, E&I cabinets, and field equipment.
• Strong knowledge of HV/MV cable modeling and LV distribution design.
• Experience with offshore platform design and HV substations.
• Familiarity with automation and telecommunication systems.
• Ability to standardise and optimise E&I 3D modeling processes.
• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments.
