Piping Engineer

We are looking for a Piping Engineer to support the design, development, and implementation of piping systems for offshore wind infrastructure, such as offshore substations, foundations, and support structures. You'll work in a multidisciplinary team environment, ensuring that all piping layouts, specifications, and designs are safe, efficient, and compliant with industry standards.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Design and develop piping systems for offshore wind platforms and substations.
• Prepare piping layouts, isometrics, material take-offs (MTOs), and line lists.
• Ensure piping designs meet all project specifications, standards, and safety codes.
• Perform stress analysis, flow calculations, and support selection in collaboration with structural teams.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (e.g., mechanical, structural, HVAC, electrical) to ensure proper integration of piping systems.
• Support procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Review vendor documentation and ensure technical compliance with project requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and participate in design reviews and HAZOP sessions.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in piping design, preferably within the offshore, energy, or wind sectors.
• Familiar with piping codes and standards (e.g., ASME, ISO, DNV, API).
• Experience with 3D modeling tools such as E3D, PDMS, or AutoPlant.
• Understanding of offshore structures, high-pressure systems, and corrosion protection.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. Dutch is a plus!
• Willingness to occasionally travel for project meetings or offshore site visits.
