Profile Planning Engineer

We are looking for a Planning Engineer to develop and maintain project schedules, coordinate planning activities, and ensure accurate progress reporting to support efficient execution of offshore and marine projects.

Tasks & responsibilities:
- Coordinate project planning activities for complex projects and work scopes.
- Translate proposal schedules into detailed project schedules.
- Initiate and manage onshore scope planning, coordinating input from various disciplines, foreign offices, and subcontractors.
- Issue initial schedules internally for review and approval.
- Develop high-profile project reports, including bar charts, histograms, S-curves, and Earned Value reports.
- Maintain project schedules, track progress, and update forecasts.
- Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, including project teams, management, and clients.
- Synchronise project timings and durations with seasonal schedule planners.
- Work closely with the Project Cost Controller to share project-related financial and scheduling information.
- Develop project scenarios, offshore schedules, and mobilisation.
- Set up and track CAPEX and R&M schedules, including port calls and docking activities.
- Maintain and update the Daily Progress Report database system.
- Support the development of an integrated resource planning system and Earned Value management reports.
Requirements Planning Engineer
- Bachelor's/Master's in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of planning and scheduling techniques.
- 3-5 years of experience in project planning, monitoring, and execution within an offshore/marine environment.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Understanding of project management structures, network planning, resource planning, and Earned Value management.
- Results-driven, with a proven track record of successful project planning.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with stakeholders.
- Highly organised with a hands-on, proactive approach.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in complex project environments.
- Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
