Project Engineer - Offshore Wind

Do you have experience working on offshore wind infrastructure, substations, or foundation designs? Can you solve complex engineering challenges in offshore environments?

We are looking for a Project Engineer to support offshore wind farm developments, including offshore substations, foundations, and energy transmission systems. You will manage engineering deliverables while ensuring technical compliance and supporting the successful execution of offshore wind projects.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Assist the Engineering Project Manager (EPM) in overseeing technical activities for offshore wind projects.
• Manage and monitor engineering deliverables, project schedules, and personnel hours.
• Ensure all project requirements (contractual, regulatory, and safety standards are met.
• Act as a liaison between different engineering disciplines, ensuring smooth project execution.
• Coordinate with Structural, electrical, and mechanical teams to align project requirements.
• Work closely with procurement, construction, and offshore installation teams.
• Ensure that all engineering deliverables meet technical and quality standards.
• Identify and manage design changes, ensuring proper documentation and implementation.
• Support the preparation of risk assessments, technical reports, and project presentations.
• Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project alignment.
• Assist in technical discussions and decision-making processes.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Offshore Engineering.
• At least 5+ years of experience in engineering roles, preferably in offshore wind, offshore substations, or energy transmission projects.
• Strong understanding of offshore wind infrastructure, including substations and foundations.
• Experience with engineering project coordination, design processes, and offshore construction.
• Familiarity with offshore industry standards such as DNV, IEC, ISO, and API.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in multidisciplinary engineering teams is a plus!
• Willingness to travel occasionally for project site visits and offshore operations.
• Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. Dutch is a plus!
