Project Manager - Offshore Wind

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead and oversee the development of offshore wind projects. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all phases of project development, from initial feasibility studies through to construction and commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive project plans, define scope, objectives, and deliverables, and oversee their execution to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
• Engage and coordinate with internal teams, external partners, regulatory bodies, and local communities to ensure effective communication and project support.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges related to environmental impact, technical issues, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage project budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and monitor expenditures to ensure financial objectives are met.
• Ensure all project activities comply with local and national regulations, including obtaining necessary permits and adhering to environmental standards.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve project milestones and deliverables.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Project Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus!
• At least 5 years of project management experience in the renewable energy sector, with a focus on offshore wind projects.
• Strong understanding of offshore wind technologies, project lifecycle, and industry best practices.
• Fluent in English, both verbally an in writing. Another language such as Dutch or French is a plus!
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
