Senior Designer Structural

We are looking for a Senior Structural Designer to design and develop structural components for large-scale offshore wind projects and EPC initiatives. Tasks & responsibilities:

• Lead the design and detailing of structural components for offshore platforms and wind energy installations.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, and process engineers to ensure integrated structural designs.
• Ensure designs meet all regulatory, safety, and quality standards, including offshore wind and EPC-specific requirements.
• Prepare detailed structural drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for all project phases.
• Use relevant design and analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, Tekla, or similar) to create accurate 3D models and construction drawings.
• Identify and address technical issues and propose solutions during the design and construction phases.
• Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning of structural components on offshore wind platforms.
• Contribute to the development of best practices, driving innovation and efficiency in structural design for offshore projects.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5-8 years of experience in structural design, with a strong focus on offshore projects, ideally within wind or EPC environments.
• Expertise in structural design software, such as AutoCAD and Tekla, and familiarity with relevant offshore standards and codes (e.g., Eurocodes, DNV GL).
• Understanding of offshore wind energy infrastructure, such as foundations, substations, and topsides.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing. Proficiency in Dutch is an advantage!
• Flexibility to travel to project sites as needed.
