We are looking for a Senior Marine Engineer to design, analyse, and optimise marine systems for offshore projects, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, technical performance, and operational efficiency.

Tasks & responsibilities:
- Lead the design and optimisation of marine systems for FPSOs and floating LNG projects.
- Ensure high-quality and cost-effective marine system solutions.
- Conduct conceptual and detailed design of marine and production systems.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including Naval, E&I, Piping, HVAC, Process, and Technical Safety.
- Interface with shipyards, vendors, and classification societies to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Conduct and review HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, HP/LP Reports, and SIF Reports.
- Evaluate and specify marine systems and equipment technology to optimally balance technological advancements and commercial viability.
- Ensure compliance with classification societies' rules (e.g., ABS, DNV, GL. BV, Lloyds).
- Provide technical support and expertise to internal and external stakeholders.
- Potentially travel to global shipyards and project locations for short- or long-term assignments.
Requirements Senior Marine Engineer
- Master's or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent certification) in Marine Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Higher Seafering College, or General Operational Technology (AOT).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Marine Systems Engineering and Design (preferably in Pre-FEED, FEED, and Detailed phase).
- In-depth technical knowledge and experience in marine and production systems for:
- Floating & production units (FSOs, FPSOs, Oil & Gas Carriers, Chemical Tankers, Drilling Units, Semi-submersibles, TLPs).
- Good interface knowledge with related disciplines such as Naval, E&I, Piping, HVAC, Process, Technical Safety & Regulatory).
- Preferably experience with shipyards, shipboard operations, marine equipment vendors, and manufacturers.
- Preferably experience in Engineering, Design, and/or Operation of LNG carriers.
- Familiarity with classification societies' rules (ABS, DNV, BV, Lloyds) and international regulations.
- Experience with risk assessment methods such as HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA HP/LP Reports, and SIF Reports.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and adaptability skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Stakeholder focus with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to travel internationally as required for project needs.
