Senior Structural Designer

We are looking for a Senior Structural Designer to create detailed structural designs, ensuring accuracy and quality in deliverables. and colalborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliover innovative solutions for offshore and renewable energy projects.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Decelop detailed structural designs for offshore platforms, substations, and energy infrastructure.
• Prepare high-qualikty deliverables, including 3D models, general arrangement drawings, and fabrication drawings.
• Perform design calculations and ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety requirements.
• Work closely with engineers and project teams to translate design concepts into practical solutions.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of structural designs into overall project plans.
• Review design deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
• Provide input to improve and standardise structural design processes and practices.
• Support tendering and project planning phases by preparing design estimates and documentation.
• Address technical challenges and propose solutions to meet project goals.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in structural design, preferably in offshore, oil & gas, olr renewable energy projects.
• Proficiency in structural design software such as Tekla, AutoCAD, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of offshore structural design standards, including Eurocodes, API, or other relevant guidelines.
• Expedrience with 3D modeling and integration of structural designs.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in design deliverables.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively across disciplines.
• Ability to manage mutliple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
• Fluency in English is required, proficiency in Dutch is a plus!
