Structural Engineer - Offshore Pipelines

We are looking for a Structural Engineer - Offshore Pipelines to design, analyse, and support the installation of offshore pipeline structures, You will ensure safety, stability, and efficiency from project planning to execution.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Analyse and prepare project specifications for the construction or conversion of vessels, lifting appliances, or special equipment for offshore operations.
• Develop structural equipment for renewable energy projects, such as wind turbine installation and river waste removal systems.
• Design and perform structural calculations (including FEM analysis) to ensure compliance with strength, stability, and safety requirements.
• Prepare detailed design reports and technical documentation within the defined scope, budget, and schedule.
• Identify and assess risks related to vessel and equipment integrity, safety, and class approval.
• Develop plans and procedures for the installation and inspection of offshore equipment.
• Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, offshore personnel, clients, and certification authorities.
• Provide installation support by working onboard vessels as a Field Engineer when required.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical (preferred), Aerospace, or Civil Engineering.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
• Strong analytical skills and technical problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Dutch language skills are preferred to facilitate communication.
• Willingness to work offshore occasionally, depending on project requirements.
