We are looking for a Junior Cost Engineer to help estimate and manage project costs to ensure they stay within budget.

Tasks & responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse cost estimates for engineering projects.
- Develop detailed cost breakdowns and forecasts.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents.
- Evaluate tender submissions and identify cost-related risks.
- Provide cost-related support to project teams.
- Monitor and report on project budgets and expenditures.
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors to obtain cost information.
- Assist in negotiating pricing and contract terms.
- Maintain accurate records of cost estimates and tender documents.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Requirements Junior Cost Engineer
- A degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial), Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Finance or Accounting (depending on the industry focus).
- Experience in cost estimating or tendering, preferably in an engineering or construction setting.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Proficiency in English and Dutch, both verbally and in writing.
- Familiarity with Dutch market regulations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
