We are looking for a Senior Electrical Consultant to oversee electrical projects from design to implementation, providing strategic and technical consulting services in the power and new energy sectors, with a focus on renewable energy technologies and grid stability.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Project Development and Execution
  • Execute activities for renewable power and new energy systems.
  • Conduct conceptual design for renewable power generation and transmission systems (AC and DC, grid-connected and off-grid).
  • Design electrical systems for green products, with a focus on battery energy storage systems (BESS).
• Technical Consultancy
  • ​​​​​​​Perform grid stability studies.
  • Define Basis of Design and Technical Specifications.
  • Provide High-level definitions and specifications of equipment/system components.
  • Deliver consultancy services, including feasibility and conceptual studies and financial models.
• Business Development
  • ​​​​​​​Support marketing and business development activities for consulting services.
  • Develop and maintain a Subject Matter Expert status in the specified fields across the organisation.
  • Support the growth of the business by working with experienced colleagues to deliver tailored services.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience with Power Factory DigSilent software and proficiency in ETAP.
• Experience in configuration, concept, and feasibility studies for renewable power generation and transmission systems (both AC and DC, grid-connected and off-grid).
• Experience in the conceptual design of electrical systems for green hydrogen and battery energy storage systems.
• Experience in grid stability studies.
• Familiarity with PSSE, PSCAD, PLS CADD, and Python.
• Willingness to travel as required by the job.
